How To Use
Each oral syringe is packaged individually.
Dispenser must only be used by a competent adult. Keep away from children when not in use. For accurate measurement carefully align last ring of plunger with required calibration mark on dispenser body. With medicine bottle on a firm smooth surface, securely fit the adapter into the neck of the bottle. Draw empty dispenser to required dosage mark before fitting dispenser into bottle adapter. Invert bottle and push plunger fully in before slowly drawing plunger out to fill dispenser with required dose. Check for air bubbles in the dispenser and if air bubbles are present, repeat previous two steps carefully until dispenser is free of bubbles. Ensure medicine bottle is fully upright before removing dispenser from the bottle adapter. Re-check that the dispenser is filled with the correct dose. Ensure that patient is securely seated or held upright before administering dose. Direct dispenser tip towards inside of cheek and slowly press plunger to dispense medicine. Take care to administer dose gently giving the patient time to swallow.
CHOKING CAN OCCUR WITH RAPID DISPENSING OR IF DOSE IS DIRECTED TOWARDS THE BACK OF THE MOUTH.
With medicine bottle on a firm smooth surface, carefully remove the adapter from the neck of the bottle and securely replace the cap. Clean the dispenser thoroughly immediately after each use.
TAKE CARE TO FOLLOW ANY ADVICE OR INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN WITH THE MEDICINE BEING DISPENSED
Clean using warm soapy water. Operate plunger under water several times to clear all traces of medicine from dispenser. Fully withdraw plunger from dispenser body and wash all parts separately including bottle adapter. Rinse all parts thoroughly under clean cold running water, shake off excess and dry with a soft cloth.
Cautions
Store with all parts separated and only re-assemble shortly before use. Thoroughly inspect all parts before and after each use and discard at first signs of wear, damage or defect. Keep away from children when not in use. Store in a cool dry place away from sunlight and direct heat sources Wash and dry thoroughly before storing. If required sterilise with cold water sterilising solution method only. Some medicines and uses may degrade dispenser more quickly. It is recommended that dispenser is only used up to a maximum of 25 times.
